12th grader Alexis Cooper started tutoring after classes had moved all online. Her family had noticed a troubling pattern of late and missing work, as well as difficulties with the concepts she was being taught in physics and statistics. The switch to online learning coincided with these difficulties getting worse. But Alexis had always struggled with organization, and making sure everything was turned in on time.

When she started tutoring, Alexis’s tutor kept a close eye on her assignments, to make sure that she turned everything in. Developing these organizational skills was a large focus of their lessons, especially starting out. As was completing the list of missing assignments that had built up during online classes. Her tutor also helped her with classwork from her physics, statistics, and English classes, ensuring that she understood the concepts she was learning in class.
